I am not one of the extremists who advocates for women to stop shaving and burning bras. However, lately, I've been exploring a lot of new ideas, and I start wondering why is it that women have to wear bras all the time. Frankly, and I'm sure most women would agree with me, bras are very uncomfortable. The best part of coming back home is taking off my bra. But since it's so uncomfortable, why do we keep on doing it to ourselves?

The movie "50 shades of Grey" hit theater yesterday. Due to the nature of the film, it's banned in my country, so obviously, I haven't seen the movie yet. However, I have read the books, or at least, I tried to read the books. I could only go about halfway through the first book. That's how much I despised it. I am curious about the movie, though. If the books were so awful, the movie surely can't get any worse, right?

Image via hercampus.com Love is in the air. It's that time again -- it's Valentine's Day, also known as Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine. I never intended on writing this post at all until the controversies revolving around this celebration that arose several days ago. I'm all up for love, so I love Valentine's Day. It's a rosy day filled with all sorts of cheesy romantic stuff. However, Cambodia has somehow condemned this celebration.

If you're on my Facebook friend list, your newsfeed might've been flooded with rants about me being stuck here in the U.S. If you've been feeling bad about how 2014 has turned out for you, I can assure you that reading this will make you feel better. It also happens to be the reason why I'm still here in the U.S. celebrating Christmas, and now, New Year's Eve all alone. As much as I'd love to believe that what I'm about to tell you is made-up, it's truly one of the most embarrassing and messed up things in my life.

Shaving has been a topic of debate and discussion between me and my friends for a while now. In this case, we're talking about shaving pubic hair. Some of my friends were really eager to know if shaving is better or not. After finally deciding to sit down and write about this dilemma, I must say, I have learned things that I didn't know before about pubic hair grooming. This article is for men and women, so my male readers, you're not being left out here.

This is a quick little ranting post that I decided to whip up because I need to get it off of my chest. Several months go, Meghan Trainor came out with a song called "All About That Bass". That song got so popular that it dominated the Billboard Hot 100. I never heard that song until a few weeks ago when my music professor played it in class to demonstrate the differences between classical music from Beethoven's time to popular music in our time. I would love to point out all the things that are wrong with today's music, but I want to talk about the message that today's media is sending out to kids and young people.

I never want to ever explain myself for anything I do because I believe that I don't owe anyone anything for my own decision, but right now, I feel like I have to make this clear.
